Ways to Use Watermelon Rinds
Did you know that the entire watermelon is edible? Most people think you can’t eat the rind, so here are 3 ways you can!
Pickled Rinds - Peel the green skin off the rind, then boil in salt water for 4 minutes. Next you’ll add sugar, vinegar, and extra pickling spice. Lastly place them in the fridge and they should stay good for a few weeks!
Stir Fry - Make your favorite stir fry, and then add in some peeled and cubed pieces of watermelon rind!
Use Watermelon as a Bowl - Once you’ve eaten all of your watermelon, hollow out the pink flesh and scrape away the white rind. Now you have a watermelon bowl for fruits, or even a watermelon drink!
