MORE THAN A FARM
What started with horse-drawn plows and a small plot of land has grown into a multi-generational mission to feed our communities and honor our roots.
A Story That Started in 1935
Every watermelon, ear of corn, and bin of cantaloupe is grown with the same care we’d give our own table—because to us, farming is personal.
Mouzin Brothers Farms, located in southern Indiana, has a rich history dating back to 1935, when Julius Mouzin Sr. founded the farm.
With a small plot of land and horse-drawn plows, the family worked tirelessly to grow the operation, overcoming challenges through dedication and hard work. Over time, Julius Sr.’s sons, Paul and Julius Jr., helped expand the farm, specializing in watermelons, sweet corn, cantaloupe, pumpkins, squash, and honey. By diversifying crops and adopting modern farming practices, the family ensured the farm’s sustainability and established it as one of the most successful operations in the region.
Today, Mouzin Brothers Farms spans Indiana and Illinois, employing hundreds of workers and supplying high-quality produce and honey to customers across the region. Despite its growth, the farm remains a proud, family-owned business committed to excellence and integrity. Now led by Paul Mouzin (2nd Generation), along with his son Dennis (3rd) and his grandsons Brady and Blake Mouzin (4th), the family continues to carry on the legacy, honoring their tradition of providing fresh, delicious produce for generations to come.
